Blind Spots Digital Release

We are excited to announce the digital release of BlindSpots this 9th October, the independence day of Uganda !!!

What is independence?
Well according to wikipedia, it is a condition of a nation, country, or state, in which its population exercises self-government / sovereignty over its territory.
In the context of ‘post-colonialism’, is there such a thing as independence or rather a veiled form of autonomy that many have taken for independence.

Such a historical and meaningful conversation / debate as to what independence means is the reason why 9th of October was chosen seeing as majority of the cast is and resides in Uganda.

Uganda was a protectorate of the British Empire from 1894 to 1962. In 1893 the Imperial British East Africa Company transferred its administration rights of territory consisting mainly of the Kingdom of Buganda to the British government. In 1894 the Uganda Protectorate was established, and the territory was extended beyond the borders of Buganda to an area that roughly corresponds to that of present-day Uganda.

We are so excited for you all to get to watch Blind Spots on the various streaming platforms so we can get to hear from you, your opinions and testimonials as well.
