Building a Foundation: Azeri's Cow Purchase Supports Education & Future Home

Meet Azeri, a 21-year-old student at Bwesumbu Seed Secondary School in Kaghando village. Like many young people, Azeri worried about his future and how he would achieve his dream of owning a permanent commercial house.

Thanks to the project and his dedication (saving for a year in the saving group), Azeri was able to buy a cow for 1.100.000 UGX (approximately €280) . As the project comes to an end, he hopes his cow will thrive, producing calves that he can sell to eventually buy land and build his dream home. He estimates it will take him around 6 years to achieve this goal.

Beyond the cow, Azeri also invested 8 chickens. These animals will help him complete lower secondary school and potentially pursue further studies.
