My Family’s Improved Balanced Diet

Kibikyabo is a farmer growing cassava and beans additionally engaging in the selling of dry coffee. She is a parent to 2 children.

Kibikyabo states that prior to the additional help from the cash transfers, she lacked certain basic neccesities like proper beddings, a balanced diet and the opportunity to join a savings group due to her lack of adequate finances.

With the financial boost from the cash transfers, Kibikyabo managed to turn her tides in that she purchased beddings like blankets and bedsheets, bought a goat, can now eat a balanced meal and has joined a savings group.
Her hope for the future is to purchase a plot of land where she would be able to construct permanent housing.
