Mid-Line Survey With Makerere University

This past month, alongside the Makerere University of Kampala Uganda, we were privileged to have conducted a mid-line survey in the villages of Kasese.

The survey consisted of engaging with the beneficiaries of the unconditional cash transfers and their progresses achieved plus aspirations to be achieved.

Whilst engaging with the beneficiaries, social improvements such as housing, access to education, medical affordability and financial management are the themes we saw being not only practised but emphasised amongst the community.

Watch our feature documentary: CRAZY MONEY
What happens if the inhabitants of a Ugandan village suddenly receive a basic income for two years, not a single string attached? Is free money truly liberating?
